10 Years of House of Gold Diamonds!

March 2022 marks an entire decade of the most fabulous project I have ever been a part of: HOUSE OF GOLD DIAMONDS. I am so grateful to my DJ partner, DJ J. Jackson, our House divas (Breyanna Burlesque, Satina Loren, Vida Lamour DeCosmo and Tyra Boinks) and to the collaborators, performers and venues we have worked with in that time. And most definitely, I want to say hi to our very dedicated fans. The joy you bring to our dance floors makes my heart explode. Thank you.

In 2012, DJ J. Jackson and I discovered one another and threw our inaugural House of Gold Diamonds party at the now-defunct (but still loved) Lo Pub. It was “I Wanna Dance With Somebody!,” an all-diva dance party and tribute to Whitney Houston that has since become an annual Winnipeg tradition. We strive to bring exciting and memorable events wherever we go, like “Holiday: Celebrating 30 Years of Madonna,” a night where we played hours of strictly the Material Girl’s music to hundreds of her fans. Each one of our parties is filled with joy and unexpected moments, be it a surprise drag tribute to Cher, a set from a rapping burlesque performer, or confetti cannons shooting over the audience.

We had to cancel our events during this pandemic to keep our community safe. We will be cooking up more soon, and in the mean time, I’m going to post a retrospective highlight reel of the last decade.
