Weekend of fun!
If you live in Winnipeg, come out to these shows! Saturday night features some really striking musicians live in concert, a little comedy, followed by dancing with DJ Hunnicutt and yours truly, all for a really special reason.
Last month, two of Winnipeg’s finest citizens and playwrights, Jason Neufeld and Alix Sobler, lost their home and literally all of their possessions to a devastating condo fire in Winnipeg. The building was so unstable they wouldn’t let fire fighters inside, and the fire was so destructive that residents were not allowed to salvage anything. Anything. They just pulled down the building and Jason and Alix literally came home to a pile of rubble.
Jason and Alix lived on the main floor. The window to the left of the door was their living room.

Miraculously, one of their cats, Wyatt, was pulled from the rubble the morning after the fire. We’re still on the look out for the tough and elusive Fraidie.
